Woori Bank Ho Chi Minh City Representative Office was established in December 2002 under the approval of the State Bank of Vietnam (the Central Bank). After 3 years in Ho Chi Minh City, Woori Bank Ho Chi Minh Representative Office was upgraded into a Branch in December 2005 in order to meet the growing needs of the emerging Vietnamese economy and to further strengthen economic ties between Vietnam and South Korea.
